See Beyond the Failure: Bring ThousandEyes Network Intelligence into Splunk Observability Cloud
Overview
When a synthetic test reports a problem, teams need to know whether it began in the application, supporting infrastructure, or the network path. The ThousandEyes and Splunk synthetic monitoring integration brings these views together in Splunk Observability Cloud, helping teams investigate issues without switching between tools.
Customers with Splunk Observability Cloud and ThousandEyes entitlements can configure the out-of-the-box integration in the Splunk dashboard with a ThousandEyes API token. From Splunk, teams can create HTTP server tests or import existing ones, select the Cloud and Enterprise Agents available in their ThousandEyes account, and review test results in familiar Splunk workflows.
Feature Highlights
Direct test creation in Splunk: Set up HTTP server tests or import existing ThousandEyes HTTP server tests, then manage them through the Digital Experience capability within Splunk Observability Cloud.
Leverage ThousandEyes vantage points: Choose from the ThousandEyes Cloud and Enterprise Agents available to your account to measure application availability and performance from relevant locations.
Correlate ThousandEyes telemetry with observability. View test metrics in Splunk Observability Cloud, build dashboards, and create alerts alongside other Splunk data. Open a linked test in ThousandEyes for deeper network-path analysis.
Customer Benefits
Determine root cause faster: Bring application results and network context together to help pinpoint where a synthetic test failure may originate.
Reduce tool switching: Create, import, and manage supported tests in Splunk alongside the application and infrastructure data you already monitor.
Go deeper when you need to: Use Splunk dashboards and alerts for day-to-day monitoring, then follow the test link to access ThousandEyes for network path analysis.
Connect synthetic monitoring with your Splunk Observability Cloud workflows to help your team move from alert to investigation with fewer steps—and a more complete view of service health.
